Sol SocksAaah! Flip flops, slippahs, thongs, or sandals. It doesn't matter what you call them. This casual footwear holds a hallowed place in the world of surfers or avid beachgoers. They provide sole protection when checking the waves and enable us to move from sand to restaurant and back to the beach almost seamlessly. Also, they help a surfer keep not only his/her casual identity but also some dignity when mingling among those fully-clothed non-surfers.
There is one problem. Flip flops don't keep your feet warm in the winter or after a surf in frigid water.

As always, I put products to the test before doing any kind of review, so I headed for the beach. I found my new grey, midweight, fleece Sol Socks to be comfortable during the ride, snug during the mandatory surf check, and quite toasty during my post-session parking lot dry-off.
These socks are warm, stylish, and very convenient. Sol Socks come in different thicknesses and colors, and I have fully enjoyed them.
